Kelly McCloskey featured in est living

Featured in est living, Kelly McCloskey is recognised for her collaborative approach to feng shui, working with architects and interior designers to create homes that are not only beautiful, but balanced, functional and deeply supportive to live in.

I was interviewed for this piece to explain how feng shui can work alongside architecture and interior design to create a home that feels balanced, supportive and inviting. A lot of people still think of feng shui as something decorative or symbolic, but my role in projects like this is to help harmonise what is already there: to work with the architecture, the layout and the intention of the design team so the home not only looks beautiful, but also feels right to live in.

In the article, I shared that my approach is collaborative rather than disruptive. I’m brought in to help identify where energy may feel blocked or unsettled and to make recommendations that enhance flow, function and wellbeing without compromising the design vision. My advice focused on how thoughtful spatial changes can improve the overall experience of a home and help create an environment that supports the people living in it.
