Kelly McCloskey on The Chrissie Swan Show
Feng Shui Basics
I did this interview to talk about feng shui in a way that feels practical, relatable and easy to apply. A lot of people still think feng shui is mysterious or purely decorative, but what I wanted to share is that it is really about flow: how a home feels, how energy moves through it, and how small choices in layout and placement can change the experience of living there.
In the interview, we touched on some of the most common questions people have, including mirrors, whether TVs belong in the bedroom, and the everyday do’s and don’ts that can either support or disrupt chi in the home. The conversation had a light, fun energy, but the message underneath it was serious: our homes affect us more than we realise, and when a space is balanced, it can feel calmer, more supportive and more aligned with the life we are trying to create.
It was also a chance to show that feng shui does not have to be dramatic or intimidating. Even in a fast, entertaining interview format, I wanted to bring people back to the idea that good feng shui is often about awareness, intention and making thoughtful adjustments that help a home feel better to live in.
